Description: Polygon feature class identifying response areas (first due) within municipal boundaries. These boundaries were created per NFPA standards running 4 and 8 minute response per street network from responding station, with all standard impendences in places. Boundaries were balanced based upon estimated population and expected call load per unit. This feature class is updated as the city annexes additional parcels into the municipality. Estimated population is based upon residential structures by 2.35 persons (census estimate), residential, commercial and government structures identified by tax parcel per structure.
